Portland, Ore.

It's been an exciting year for me, since starting at Laika.
I've been learning so much at work while twiddling my thumb trying to figuring out what defines me as an Artist/Designer.
There's no more excuses now,  I've got schedules for myself to hit scribbled down.
and my desk built, Special thanks to my  dear K :)

I'm hoping this time, I'll do less thinking and more doing.

Exploring new style - and to Illustrate the things around me :)

" Captial Commercialism - Illustration"
inspired after taking a ride on "blue fin 2" during fleet week.

and I'm glad my friend decided to rent a U-haul, instead of what he might have done illustrated below.

Gen - Usagi Yojimbo Stop Motion Pitch Film

The Project I worked on almost a year ago has finally released their proof of concept!
I was their lead puppet fabricator for the project, and the director has given me the go ahead to showcase the work I did for him!

It was a collaborative effort between Spencer Becket and I to get the head remolded and casted the ears to be animatable.  Jordy Farrell was willing to help paint most of the body parts of not just Gen but all the other puppets as well!
The clothes were then tailored the texture doted one by one and then sown onto the puppet by hand!
